How much revenue can be generated with an ATM in my location?
This is dependant on the number of transactions that are generated by the patrons in your location. ATM Advantage Plus shares the surcharge with our clients — the more transactions across the ATM, the more surcharge revenue will be generated for our clients. This revenue does not include the increase of revenue generated via increased sales from patrons with “cash in pocket.”
How much is the surcharge?
In this area, surcharges generally range from $2.00 to $4.00, but there are exceptions. Contact us and we can discuss a surcharge strategy that makes sense for your business.
What happens when a patron does not get the proper amount of cash from the ATM?
The dispensing accuracy from modern ATMs is extremely high, so this very rarely happens. If it were to happen, the patron will contact the issuing bank for their ATM card. They can also call the “800” number on the front of the ATM to report the discrepancy. Rest assured ATM Advantage Plus will work diligently to rectify the problem such that our clients’ image is not impacted. There are strict regulations regarding this type of event, so let us handle this for you and your patron. We will review the procedure with our clients and their employees upon ATM installation to avoid any confusion.
What should we do if the ATM is not working properly?
Contact ATM Advantage Plus or call the “800” number listed on the front of the ATM.
What costs are incurred by the merchant/client?
If ATM Advantage Plus places the machine, there are no hidden fees or charges that are borne by the client.
What happens in the event of theft or vandalism?
The client is not responsible for any theft or vandalism that occurs to the ATM.
What are my expenses?
The ATM will require a standard phone line, an internet connection, or a wireless device for network communications, and a standard electrical outlet.
What is included with each ATM placement?
ATM Advantage Plus will install the machine, perform all set-up and connection processes, load money as required, perform all service and maintenance and share transaction fees with the client on a monthly basis.
We currently accept credit cards. Is it still worthwhile to place an ATM machine at our location?
Absolutely! This will not only put available cash in the hands of your customers, but it will also help save money on your credit card processing fees.
Who is responsible for machine repairs and regular maintenance?
ATM Advantage Plus will perform all maintenance, repair and service to the ATM.
